For all those android users : The greatest hit which you did not buy.

Last year, HTC took the best parts of its previous flagship devices, refined them into a single package called HTC10 that made other android phone manufacturers go back to their drawing board !

An Introduction to the most amazing, serious android flagship from HTC. The HTC 10 was launched last year and therefore it is a previous generation flagship device of HTC. Yes, it's still the best!

Not really an HTC fan but you got to love some of the little things HTC does on it's flagship devices and those are not any marketing gimmicks but they work perfectly in real world. From the super fast responsive fingerprint scanner to amazing sound quality on its speakers, location based locking, or double tapping the screen to wake up the device the experience has been good and it lives up to the flagship standards even today. HTC has been promising faster android updates to flagships and they do keep their word. They have manufactured some well built phones with beautiful HTC sense UI built into those devices. No wonder Google now wants them to be part of their team. For a start, HTC dream was the first android that HTC manufactured for Google. HTC also worked closely with Google to eliminate and clear up all those unwanted multiple apps to make the HTC 10 most amazing device when it comes to user experience. HTC One (M8) main camera was accompanied by second camera (Now you know that HTC had the dual camera system earlier) however it did not take any pictures, as it finds just the range. It creates depth map of your scene, which allows you to add high-quality effects such as background blur (faux bokeh) or refocus your images after taking the shot. When it came to music there was nothing close to the amazing sound quality on a HTC smartphone. HTC flagships were capable (still are..) of delivering crystal clear sound that no smartphone could match. A company that always got the audio output right and delivered amazing sound on the device's speakers. Even better when using headphones or when connected to an external amplifier with hardly any degradation!

HTC was the first to bring in a smartphone with a zero gap aluminium unibody. Therefore, it's rock solid and well built.

Most android users knew that a flagship device was the best a smartphone manufacturing company could offer every year. Of course that's why they are called flagship phones. Manufacturers do not cut corners in those phones. They are expensive because of the displays and other hardware/specifications. At the time of purchase, the person at the store will even tell you that if you fall short of storage, there is always a micro sd card for expanding storage. What you need to know is that they don't support storage of apps. Only photos , audio and video clips and some documents. After Marshmallow update HTC did something amazing - They enabled flex storage. Or Adoptable storage what they call it. HTC 10 will perform a check for the micro sd card when it's inserted for any errors. It will then ask if you want HTC 10 to use this micro sd as internal memory.. and you have a whopping 1TB or 2TB of supported storage for anything. Yes the phone has the capacity to handle terabytes of storage. Even for applications! Now that's more than 256GB.

Real world experience - After a year, few drops, bit of impact etc.. HTC 10 still looks new without any scratches or dents. How? The answer is very straight. The build quality is solid and it just does not require a case! However i'd like to wait for the Apple's best ! Maybe the iphone 10 will have something new!

Back-up data from your mobile phone.

There was always a desire to have an easy and convenient method to back-up all important data from our mobile phones to a safe place. We had options in Nokia for e.g., to back-up the memory of the phone to the memory card. Later if the data is lost or gets deleted, we could restore it from the card memory to phone. we also had Nokia PC suite, a software which helps in synchronisation with phone and also lets us make entries in contacts and write messages using computer and read it on the computer. It aslo was helpful to upload multimedia files, and connect to internet using phone as external modem. It also worked well when we wanted to move few applications into the phone. But since it is a software, it needs to be installed on the computer. Main disadvantage is, it is local synchronisation with your PC using data cable or Bluetooth connectivity. Also the data is stored locally. Data loss is a disater for people who store huge amount of information, data on their devices. At times we r
